Who Is Marky Pascua?

Meet Marky Ramone Richmond Pascua—the senior-care entrepreneur, RCFE and ARF professional, consultant, husband, and faith-driven founder building the Rosenthal Care Continuum from California’s High Desert.

Who is Marky Pascua? The short answer is that Marky Ramone Richmond Pascua is the CEO and founder behind four connected organizations: Rosenthal Community Care Services, Rosenthal Adult & Senior Care Connections, The Western Lights Residences, and The Rosenthal Care Group.

The fuller answer is more personal. Marky is a systems-minded entrepreneur who believes care should remain human, leadership should remain accountable, and a business should exist because it solves a real problem for real people. He is a husband building alongside his life partner, a proud Filipino shaped by family-centered values, and a Christian who speaks openly about prayer, gratitude, purpose, and the responsibility to turn faith into service.

His story did not begin with a portfolio of companies. It began with years of learning how people, policies, processes, and pressure interact. It continued through the decision to leave a long corporate career, enter the highly regulated world of residential care, navigate applications and corrections, confront financial uncertainty, and keep building when the outcome was not immediate.

This is the story behind the public titles—the experiences, principles, and relationships that shaped Marky Pascua and the growing Rosenthal Care Continuum.

Before the Rosenthal Companies

Twelve years of learning how systems serve people.

Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Marky spent more than a decade with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. His work included Customer Care, Business Execution Administration, and Business Analysis—roles that required accuracy, communication, process discipline, problem solving, and the ability to work within systems where details matter.

Mortgage operations and residential care are different industries, but the professional lessons travel well. Both involve consequential decisions. Both require organized records, clear communication, responsible follow-through, and sensitivity to the person behind the paperwork. A missing item can delay an outcome. An unclear explanation can increase fear. A process that works on paper can still fail if the people carrying it out do not understand the purpose.

Marky learned to examine workflows, identify gaps, track progress, communicate expectations, and translate complicated requirements into practical action. He also learned something more human: many people arrive at important decisions already overwhelmed. They do not need someone to make them feel smaller. They need someone who can listen, explain, organize, and help them see the next step.

Good systems do not replace compassion. They give compassion a reliable way to reach people.

A New Direction

From corporate stability to care entrepreneurship.

After approximately 12 years in mortgage operations, Marky chose a path with less certainty but greater alignment with his long-term purpose. Residential care brought together the parts of his experience that mattered most: helping people through difficult transitions, building organized operations, developing teams, and creating something capable of serving families for years.

His professional preparation has included Residential Care Facility for the Elderly administrator education, Adult Residential Facility administrator education, Direct Support Professional I training, and First Aid, CPR and AED training. Yet Marky’s education did not stop in a classroom. It continued through real facility development: acquiring and improving a home, preparing documentation, working through fire and facility-readiness questions, responding to licensing corrections, organizing service standards, and learning how much persistence a care vision requires before the first resident ever arrives.

That experience changed how he viewed the industry. Aspiring operators often encounter fragmented information. Families searching for care may not understand the differences among assisted living, residential care, memory care, independent living, and in-home support. Caregivers may have the heart and training to serve but struggle to connect with the right employer. Facility owners may receive a recommendation and assume it is the only possible solution, even when another responsible, cost-efficient option may also fit the published requirements.

Marky did not see four unrelated problems. He saw one incomplete system—and an opportunity to connect the pieces.

The Rosenthal Care Continuum

Four organizations designed to support different moments in the care journey.

The Rosenthal companies reflect a single strategy: serve providers, strengthen the workforce, help families find care, develop thoughtful residential options, and coordinate those services through one long-range vision.

RCCS

Rosenthal Community Care Services

Rosenthal Community Care Services is the consulting, education, resource, and business-support company at the center of Marky’s work with California residential-care providers and aspiring owners.

RCCS was created for people who have the desire to build or improve a care operation but need a clearer path through the practical work. Its services and resources may include:

  • RCFE and ARF startup and license-application support
  • Fire, facility and licensing-readiness preparation
  • On-site consulting and operational problem solving
  • Caregiver and operator education
  • Forms, templates, logs, calculators and digital solutions
  • Care Talent Network candidate connections
  • Business formation, branding and website support
  • An assisted-living marketplace for practical facility supplies

Marky’s consulting philosophy is not that RCCS stands above fire officials, licensing analysts, or other authorities. It is that owners deserve to understand the published rule, the goal behind it, and the responsible options available. A question does not always have only one workable answer. RCCS helps clients think carefully, compare approaches, and pursue solutions that remain within applicable requirements while respecting their resources.

RASCC

Rosenthal Adult & Senior Care Connections

Rosenthal Adult & Senior Care Connections is the family-facing placement and referral organization within the continuum. It exists for the stressful moment when a family realizes that an older adult or another person needing support may no longer be safe without additional care.

RASCC helps families explore and compare:

  • Assisted-living and residential-care homes
  • Independent-living communities
  • Memory-care options
  • In-home, nonmedical caregiving providers

The matching process considers care needs, preferences, location, budget, and the family’s priorities. Placement assistance is provided at no cost to families and referral sources. The purpose is to reduce confusion, save time, and help people move from a stressful morning toward a clearer direction.

RASCC also reflects Marky’s conviction that placement should never feel like moving a name from one list to another. Every inquiry represents a person with routines, relationships, fears, preferences, and dignity.

The Western Lights Residences

The Western Lights Residences is Marky and Kelvin’s small-home residential senior-living vision in Hesperia, California. The home has been acquired, improved, and prepared through the demanding process associated with residential-care development.

Its philosophy is deliberately personal: a smaller environment, owner-led accountability, familiar surroundings, meaningful attention, and care that feels less institutional. Marky and Kelvin intend to bring both leadership and hands-on involvement to the residence, connecting business responsibility directly to the daily resident experience.

The development of WLR gave Marky firsthand insight into the distance between wanting to open a care home and being truly prepared to operate one. The paperwork, physical environment, staffing model, policies, fire considerations, resident needs, and daily routines must eventually function as one system. That lived process became part of the practical foundation behind RCCS.

The Rosenthal Care Group

The Rosenthal Care Group is the parent and strategic umbrella behind Marky’s growing portfolio. It is designed to coordinate long-term direction, shared systems, brand development, and future growth across the Rosenthal companies.

TRCG represents the widest version of the vision: an ecosystem capable of supporting people before, during, and after a care transition. One part of the organization may help an entrepreneur prepare a facility. Another may help a caregiver connect with opportunity. Another may guide a family toward an appropriate care setting. Another may operate a residential home. Over time, additional services can extend the continuum while remaining connected to the same mission.

The strategy is ambitious, but the principle is simple: when services communicate and share values, families and providers should experience fewer gaps.

Partners in Life and Business

Marky Pascua and Kelvin Garcia.

Behind the companies is a marriage built around shared work, complementary strengths, and the decision to keep moving together.

Kelvin Justo Garcia is Marky’s husband, co-owner, and operating partner. Kelvin brings hands-on assisted-living experience, including lead-caregiver responsibility and experience in luxury assisted-living environments. His perspective is grounded in the details residents and caregivers feel every day: whether expectations are clear, whether staffing works, whether the environment feels orderly, and whether care is carried out consistently.

Marky tends to see the architecture—the companies, connections, strategies, and possibilities that can become a larger system. Kelvin helps turn that architecture into daily execution. In The Rosenthal Care Group, their roles reflect that partnership: Marky as Chief Executive Officer and founder; Kelvin as owner and Chief Operating Officer.

Their relationship is not a footnote to the founder story. It is one of its foundations. They have navigated uncertainty, prepared the residence, shared the operational load, and made decisions that affect both their business and home life. They are building a future together, not simply managing a collection of brands.

The Struggle Behind the Strategy

The road was not funded by perfect circumstances.

Entrepreneurial biographies are often edited until every difficult season looks inevitable and every setback looks inspirational. Real life is less polished.

Marky’s transition required him to leave the familiarity of a career that had structured more than a decade of his life. The new path brought applications, long review periods, corrections, changing requirements, facility-readiness work, competing priorities, and the persistent pressure of building before revenue becomes predictable.

There were seasons when ordinary surprises carried extraordinary weight—when an unexpected household expense could erase nearly a full day’s pay. Those experiences matter because they explain why Marky thinks carefully about cost. He remembers what financial pressure feels like. He knows that a client asking whether another compliant option exists is not necessarily resisting safety; that client may be trying to keep a dream alive without wasting limited resources.

Marky and Kelvin did not overcome those seasons through one dramatic breakthrough. They did it through repetition: reviewing, budgeting, correcting, calling, documenting, praying, adjusting, and returning to the work. Some days produced visible progress. Other days produced only a better question. Both mattered.

01

Accept the Reality

They learned to name the problem honestly—whether it involved time, money, documentation, or readiness—without allowing it to define the future.

02

Find the Requirement

They returned to the source, examined what was actually required, and separated assumptions from actionable facts.

03

Choose a Workable Path

They compared options, used the resources available, and made the next responsible decision instead of waiting for perfect conditions.

04

Correct and Continue

A correction became information. A delay became preparation time. Progress continued even when it did not look dramatic from the outside.

A Distinct Leadership Philosophy

Practical, resourceful and accountable.

Marky does not believe responsible leadership requires pretending to know everything. It requires knowing how to research, when to ask, how to listen, and what must be verified before action is taken.

Dignity Before Transaction

Residents, families, caregivers, clients, and partners are people first. A service should never erase the person it exists to help.

Clarity Before Complexity

Technical processes should be explained in language people can understand, without false promises or unnecessary confusion.

Options Before Assumptions

Many concerns have more than one responsible solution. Good consulting explores the available paths within published requirements.

Progress Before Perfection

Preparation matters, but waiting to feel completely ready can become its own barrier. Begin responsibly, learn, and improve.

Stewardship Before Status

A title is meaningful only when it is matched by accountability, useful work, and care for the people affected by decisions.

Legacy Before Applause

The real measure is whether the organizations remain useful, create opportunity, and improve life for families and communities.

Faith and Manifestation

A vision spoken in faith—and supported by work.

Christian Faith

Marky is open about his faith in God and Jesus Christ. Prayer is part of how he gives thanks, seeks discernment, surrenders what he cannot control, and remembers that leadership is stewardship.

His definition of success is therefore larger than revenue or expansion. Success should help families, create opportunity, treat people with dignity, and use what has been entrusted to him with purpose.

Manifestation With Discipline

Marky also believes in manifestation: naming a vision, seeing possibility before the evidence is complete, and aligning daily choices with the future being pursued.

For him, manifestation is not passive wishing and it is not a replacement for faith. It is belief joined with intention, preparation, consistent work, wise decisions, gratitude, and the courage to begin again after disappointment.

Filipino Identity

Family, hospitality, elders and shared responsibility.

Marky is proud to be Filipino. That identity informs his appreciation for close family relationships, hospitality, perseverance, respect for elders, and the idea that caring for another person is a shared responsibility rather than an inconvenience.

Those values are naturally visible in his care philosophy. A residence should feel like a home. A family should feel heard. A caregiver should understand the importance of the work. A resident should be known as a whole person rather than reduced to a diagnosis, room number, or service plan.

Marky’s long-range vision also reaches beyond one market. He sees potential for the Rosenthal platform to create connections and opportunities between California, the Philippines, and other communities—while keeping care, integrity, and service at the center of growth.

A Message From Marky

I am still becoming the person the vision requires.

I did not wait until life was perfect to begin. I began with what I knew, what I had, the people I loved, and faith that the next step would become clearer when I was willing to take it.

Every correction taught me to prepare better. Every delay taught me patience. Every financial limitation taught me creativity. Every person who trusted us reminded me that a business is never only a logo, a license, or a transaction. It is a promise to be useful.

I believe God can place a vision in your heart long before you have all the resources to complete it. I also believe we honor that vision by doing the work: learning, planning, asking questions, accepting correction, serving people honestly, and trying again when the answer is not yet yes.

My goal is to build a continuum of care that supports people at every stage—from the entrepreneur opening a care home, to the caregiver seeking opportunity, to the family searching for the right setting, to the resident who deserves to feel safe, respected, and known.

I want our companies to become known not merely because they grew, but because they helped. I want clients to receive clarity. I want families to feel less alone. I want caregivers to find meaningful work. I want residential care to remain deeply human. And I want the life Kelvin and I are building together to demonstrate what faith, partnership, persistence, and disciplined action can accomplish.

That is the work. That is the calling. And we are only getting started.

— Marky Ramone Richmond Pascua
Chief Executive Officer & Founder, The Rosenthal Care Group

What Comes Next

Growth without losing the reason for growing.

The Rosenthal Care Continuum is still being built. That fact is not hidden; it is part of the story. Each company is at a different stage, and each stage brings new responsibilities. The work ahead includes strengthening provider resources, expanding caregiver and talent connections, growing family placement relationships, advancing The Western Lights Residences, and developing future services that fit naturally within the continuum.

Marky’s ambition is significant, but ambition alone is not the mission. The mission is to create connected services that remain practical, compassionate, and useful as they grow.

  • Help aspiring RCFE and ARF owners move forward with greater clarity
  • Support existing operators with practical tools and cost-conscious options
  • Connect trained care professionals with appropriate opportunities
  • Help families compare assisted living, memory care, independent living and in-home care
  • Develop smaller residential settings grounded in dignity and belonging
  • Build a legacy Marky, Kelvin, their family, and their community can be proud of

That is the most complete answer to the question, “Who is Marky Pascua?” He is a founder, but also a student of the work. He is a strategist, but also a husband and partner. He is ambitious, but shaped by seasons when every dollar and every decision mattered. He believes in manifestation, but he also believes in preparation. He believes in growth, but he wants growth to remain anchored in faith, family, service, and dignity.
