COMP II Practice Interview
A facility-specific California RCFE interview simulation that teaches you how to answer like a prepared licensee--not how to memorize isolated regulation terms.
Important: This RCCS course is an educational preparation tool. It is not a CDSS-approved orientation, legal advice, or a substitute for current statutes, regulations, your approved Plan of Operation, or instructions from your assigned licensing analyst. Rules and reporting channels can change; verify current requirements before relying on a specific deadline. Always answer truthfully for your own facility.
This should feel like your COMP II
The simulated LPA will ask operational questions, challenge incomplete answers, and present incidents that require judgment. The selected-response order is randomized so you cannot rely on an answer-letter pattern. After every submitted answer--including written responses--you will receive:
A complete model response
A numbered answer structure
Why the answer is strong
The weakness to avoid
Estimated practice time: 90-120 minutes. Across the eight modules, you will work through close-call selected responses, concise rule checks, and focused written responses. Several questions require you to state the actual number, timeline, recipient, or example--not just recognize the right answer.

How to use the sections: Each module begins with its own topic-specific rule anchors, then tests those rules through an LPA scenario and written response. Administrator presence and qualification issues are taught in Module 1; caregiver/direct-care training requirements are taught and tested separately in Module 3. Study each section before moving to the next.
