Important: This course is provided by Rosenthal Community Care Services for general caregiver education, personal growth, and skill development. This course is not advertised as a state-approved continuing education course, state-required certification course, legal training, medical training, or replacement for employer-specific training, facility policies, resident service plans, house rules, or applicable licensing requirements.
Minimum Time Requirement: This course has a minimum required course duration of 1 hour. The course timer begins as soon as the student plays the required introductory video and continues through the interactive course. Students may submit completion before the minimum time is met, but certificate issuance is subject to administrative review by Rosenthal Community Care Services.

Course Overview

In this course, you will follow caregiver decision moments involving Mr. Rosenthal and other residents in a residential care setting. The course focuses on dignity in daily care, respectful communication, resident choice, privacy, autonomy, and avoiding shame or force.

This course is not a legal advice course. It teaches practical caregiver awareness and judgment so caregivers can treat residents with respect and follow the proper care setting process.
