Bathing, Dressing, and Grooming for Dementia Care
A practical caregiver education course on personal care support when a resident living with dementia is fearful, resistant, embarrassed, or confused during bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Course Overview
In this course, you will follow Mr. Rosenthal through dementia-specific personal care moments. He may be fearful, confused, embarrassed, resistant, or unsure why care is needed. You will practice caregiver judgment during bathing, dressing, and grooming while protecting dignity, privacy, comfort, and safety.
This course focuses specifically on personal care when dementia changes how the resident understands or accepts care. It does not duplicate separate RCCS courses on general dementia basics, repeated questions, sundowning, eating and hydration, wandering, hospice, or broad behavior response.
