Course Overview
In this course, you will follow Mr. Rosenthal through dementia-specific mealtime support. You will practice preparing the meal environment, using respectful cueing, encouraging hydration, supporting safe positioning, noticing appetite changes, and protecting dignity during meals.
This course focuses specifically on eating, hydration, and mealtime support for dementia care. It does not duplicate separate RCCS courses on general ADL care, bathing, dressing, communication, sundowning, wandering, hospice, or broad behavior response.
