Course Overview
In this course, you will follow Mr. Rosenthal through fall-prevention situations in a residential care setting. You will practice identifying common fall risks, keeping pathways clear, supporting safe footwear, improving lighting, preparing for transfers, and recognizing bathroom safety concerns.
This course focuses specifically on fall prevention. It avoids duplicating separate RCCS courses on safe transfers and mobility support, incident reporting, infection control, general ADL care, and emergency response.
