Dressing and Grooming Assistance
A practical caregiver education course about clothing choices, grooming preferences, weak-side dressing support, shaving, oral care, comfort, dignity, and observation during appearance-related care.
Course Overview
In this course, you will follow Mr. Rosenthal through realistic dressing and grooming assistance situations. You will practice clothing choice support, modesty, weak-side dressing, grooming preferences, shaving and oral-care refusal, comfort checks, observation, and respectful reporting.
This course focuses specifically on dressing and grooming assistance. It avoids duplicating separate RCCS courses on bathing and hygiene support, toileting and incontinence care, mealtime assistance, dementia-specific personal care resistance, hospice comfort care, or broad documentation basics.
